This was one of my first attempts to produce a normalized table from the JDE-W Check Register. Even though the report comes out JDE as text a separate utility is needed because the built in text tools of Excel are insufficient to easily and consistently extract the meaningful data.
This application takes the default text report from the system and exports a reformatted version that uses the pipe ( | ) character as the delimiter. This symbol is easy for Excel to pick out and import into a worksheet.
The application was written in C#.
