My JDE-W Reformat tool took the text based reports that JDE produced and extracted the meaningful data in a way that was easier to work with. Before you ask why didn’t I just use Excel’s built in text extracting tools it’s because the way these reports were produced made it very difficult to extract out the data without a lot of manual filtering.
This tool was built in Excel using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
